Kathi Bump is retiring from Carnegie Science after 21 years.
She came to Carnegie in October 1996, eventually becoming the business manager in 2006.
Upon her retirement, she plans to work on some delayed renovation and repairs on her house as well as volunteer in East Palo Alto helping children amongst other things. When she is in Portland, she would like to volunteer at OFOSA, and perhaps foster rescue animals. Currently, Kathi and her husband are parents to 3 kitty babies, Iggy-Pop, Gracie and Chester (an OFOSA rescue).
She also would love to do some traveling. She wants to attend conferences with her husband as well as venture to Ireland, Scotland, and perhaps other wonderful places.
Donations in appreciation of Kathi’s dedication to the employees of Carnegie can be made to OFOSA to support rescue of more homeless cats and dogs.
