Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals participated in the City of Hillsboro's Happy Days Fourth of July parade. It was an old fashion time with the people of Hillsboro lining the streets to cheer on the walkers! OFOSA decorated and showed off the truck that was purchased to tow our Spay/Neuter clinic. Over 15 volunteers and 10 adoption dogs walk the parade. The volunteers passed out 25 pounds of candy and 500 trinkets! The fun and surprising thing was the number people who shouted "hi" and screamed "That where we adopted our dog from!". "It is always exciting to see the rewards of your work!" said Shirley Demmin, a board member and Dog Foster Coordinator who drove the truck in the parade.
